Northern Bear Golf Club is one of only three Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses in Canada. The course is situated in Sherwood Park just outside of Edmonton. The layout has fast greens and undulating fairways that are lined with trees. The course offers many challenges including long fescue grass and five lakes that come into play on eleven holes. The most defining feature of the layout though, is the abundance and placement of the bunkers. There are well over 50 treacherously placed throughout. Although it is a formidable test, Northern Bear G.C. has five sets of tees ranging from 5,800 to 7,400 yards that make it more accessible for less advanced players

Outstanding layout in serene surroundings. Signature Jack Nicklaus course in gorgeous Strathcona county. Every hole is fresh and challenging, by the end you want to play them all again.
