The Tooth of the Dogpound Creek Golf Club is nestled in the scenic valley of the club's namesake creek. The scenic terrain provides not only most of the course's challenges but also a home to an abundance of wildlife. Deer, ducks, and geese often join golfers and there have even been moose sightings. The layout closely follows the natural contours of the land and the meandering creek that crosses the length of the course comes into play throughout. There are also several lakes and ponds that make an appearance as hazards. The golf course has a tough beginning stretch of holes, which are challenging mostly due to the small greens. The greens get larger and become more player friendly as you move through the course though you'll find elevated tees and greens throughout.
