Fort Saskatchewan Golf & Curling Club boasts not only one of the most challenging nine-hole courses in Alberta but also six sheets of ice for curling. The golf course may only be nine holes but it's not to be underestimated. It offers as much variety and as many challenges as a full-length course. A creek wanders through the entire layout, weaving across and alongside almost every hole. Though water has the most prominent presence, tall trees provide complementary hazards. There is a minimal amount of bunkering around the greens and fairways, but it's so effective because of its strategic placement. Golfers will be faced with a range of holes from wide-open and fairly straight to tree-lined severe doglegs. It's a golf course where you'll be using all the clubs in your bag.
