Vulcan Golf and Country Club
About
Vulcan Golf & Country Club sits on the outskirts of the town. The layout sprawls across gently rolling terrain accented with stands of mature trees. The course measures to just over 6,300 yards from the back tees. It's gentle enough for beginners but also great for more advanced players who are looking for a casual round that can be played in less than four hours. The golf course starts with a gentle front nine with water only coming into play twice. Don't be lulled into a sense of comfort though, the course becomes progressively more difficult, culminating with the signature 18th hole. Water appears again on six holes on Vulcan's back nine, including on the final par-3 hole. Water borders the entire left side and there are also a slew of bunkers protecting the large green.

Course is in great shape
Course is in great shape, had 2 foursomes in front of us. Both let us play through, less than 3 hours for the round. Very happy with our day.
Introduced friends to a new coarse.
Took my neighbors to enjoy 18 holes at Vulcan. They said it was the best golf-day they ever had. They have only been golfing a few years, but really enjoyed the property. They also found that Golf Now discount really helped them enjoy the day. Plus they normally play 9 holes.
vulcan golf
nice course. old layout on front 9 with lots of trees.
back nine wide open links type course. back 9 can be difficult when wind kicks up
Fun coarse with added Golf Now savings.
Good carts, staff was helpful & friendly. Breezy, but nice day. Coarse in good shape for such dry weather.
Good Value
Friendly staff good food course has improved with all the hot temperatures great pace of play it’s a course that’s a lot of fun to play front nine is tight with all the mature trees we’re as the back nine is a lot more forgiving having very few trees
Friendly staff
Good people working at the course including the pro very informative
Great rural course with friendly staff. The front nine are original with many mature trees and the back much newer and more wide open. The tee boxes need some work but overall a great and fun course.
