Bootleg Gap

Bootleg Gap Golf boasts a total of 27 holes, one championship 18-hole course and a par-34 nine-hole course. The courses sprawl across the St. Mary River Valley, taking advantage of the ruggedly beautiful terrain. The Championship Course has an interesting mix of spacious driving holes and tighter holes that play along the river where accuracy is a priority. There are many towering trees throughout the golf course that will further test your accuracy. The signature hole is the par-3 12th hole, which marks the beginning of a tricky three-hole stretch that plays right along the banks of the river. The challenging 12th requires a tee shot, often into prevailing wind, to a large, undulating green located 50 feet below that is also heavily guarded by bunkers. In addition to the two courses, Bootleg Gap Golf also boasts one of the best practice facilities in the area.

Both courses are nestled in the St. Mary River Valley, which provides a verdant, undulating landscape that creates several challenges throughout both layouts. Like the full-length golf course, the Rec 9 features a range of different holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers as well as long hitters and short game experts. The layout consists of three par 3s, five par 4s, and a long par 5. Because of its versatility and playability, the nine-hole course is a very popular feature of Bootleg Gap. Both golf courses appeal to a variety of skill levels, but the Recreation nine is more approachable for beginners. In addition to both golf courses, Bootleg Gap also boasts one of the area's best practice facilities.
