Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course (previously known as Cherry Grove Golf & Country Club) is so-named for its diverse landscape that begins on natural desert and smoothly transitions into lush canyons and valleys. In the centuries prior to the course's construction, the Okanagan people referred to the scenic landscape as Nk'Mip, which roughly translates to "flat bottom land at the mouth of the creek or river." Preserving the stunning natural features, including the abundant native flora and fauna, was one of the top priorities when the Osoyoos Indian Band developed the course into a championship layout in 2001. Despite tumbling across a variety of elevation changes, the golf course is easy to walk and provides stunning views of the South Okanagan Valley along the way. The course offers a fair challenge with water hazards and numerous strategically placed bunkers coming into play.

Always in good Shape!
Great golf course, interesting layout, well looked after, pleasant staff. Great place to play. Keep up the good work!
Scenic
This golf course is very challenging for intermediate golfers ! Long even from white tees if wind blows even a little ! The greens were very quick and difficult and hard to read! All around fun course to play and good restaurant!!
Too many long rounds!
This is a great course. Well groomed and maintained. However, The course is not marshalled and VERY OFTEN the round is over 5 hours! Today (a Tuesday in late sept) took from 1130 to 4:45. Very frustrating especially when a simple thing like a Marshall could make ALL the difference! Osoyoos and Fairview never seem to have this problem. The members we golfed with were FABULOUS company and agreed this was not acceptable.
Great Golf for the Value
Excellent day of Golf...course was in great conditions. Fairways, rough(s) and greens all in excellent and well maintained shape. Great golf for the value...
Beverage cart
The lady on the beverage cart drove around and would just drive by you. When we finally got her to stop, it was like we were bothering her.
Just wanted some water. She is smoking which is gross. Buying something from someone who has a cigarette in their mouth is just not a nice experience.
It is also so dry out there that I can’t believe they allow this on the course.
Nice Course, great putting green and driving range
I had a really good round at this course, the course itself was great no issues at all. My biggest concern about this course is that there are no water fountains or water filling stations anywhere out on the course, only the clubhouse at 9 and 18. This course is located in the desert, (it’s in the name..), no water...
I know it’s not an expensive thing to add water fountains, green grass in the desert doesn’t happen without irritation so the pipes are right there below the surface.
When I mentioned it to the person at the pro shop he mentioned “did you see the cart girl out there?” Indeed I did, but have an aversion to paying for water, especially in single use plastic containers.
Please rectify this issue and will be happy to return otherwise I will play exclusively at Fairview Mountain.
Course was excellent the wind was a factor today blew hard was at least a 3 club difference but over all enjoyable
