Great Course
Cowichan Golf Course is a very nice course located just south of Duncan. It's in very good shape and is moderately easy, although the greens are tricky. Staff is always super friendly. We had a great day out there.
despite thunder and heavy rain, course was in great shape.
as always, storming Norman and staff very friendly and helpful. the back 9 are especially challenging, but we always enjoy our round...
Welcoming
Lovely day, course in excellent condition for Spring
We really like this course.
The back nine is quite challenging. It is a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to come back.
Nice, scenic track with very welcoming staff
So nice to come to a golf course where you feel very welcomed by the staff. Picturesque layout, well maintained and definitely will come back!
Friendly atmosphere
Always a pleasure to play at Cowichan where the staff are friendly and welcoming. The greens had been punched but other than that the course was in good condition for the time of year. Carts were 90 degrees.
Conditions a little sloppy.
The course is still a few weeks away from good playing conditions. The course was very wet in a lot of areas. They had just mowed the grass, for what appeared to be the first time this year. The greens were in pretty good shape. Would not have paid any more than the Hot Deal rate for theses playing conditions. Tried to have a beer after the round but they would not serve us because they had an event scheduled for that evening.
Probably nice when drier
Course was wet and soft in low lying areas but there had been a lot of rain lately. There were not a lot of players out which made for relaxed play. The course offered a variety of challenges in terrain and elevations. Will definitely be returning to this course. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Always consistent
Cowichan is always what you expect. They do well to keep course playable in the winter.
Great course, good people
Hardly a blade of grass on your shoes when you finish a round at this course
Great autumn shape and thoroughly enjoyable golf
Jewel on a hill.
A great par 70 course with an eclectic layout. An especially apropos course for the mid handicap player.
The greens were soft and receptive when we played but in excellent shape. The clubhouse had good food and beverages at very reasonable prices.
Norm the pro is as welcoming an individual as you will find in these parts. Well worth the drive to play.
Highly recommended.
Staff is so accommodating and friendly.
We arrived early and they let us tee off right away. No line ups helped. The course was well maintained.
Will be back
