Quail Golf Course at Okanagan Golf Club in Kelowna, British Columbia

Quail is the tougher of the two 18-hole golf courses at Okanagan Golf Club in British Columbia. This is the golf course to play when you want to be challenged in this chill-out region of golf, wineries and lakes.

Being wild here equals being in big trouble. The tall Canadian pines squeeze the fairways and the doglegs seem to swerve where there is the most trouble. Luckily Quail is as scenic as it is punishing, especially on the woodsy front nine. More water comes into play on the back and you'll also see more houses. The course is particularly arresting early or late in the day when the sun's going up or down over those trees.
