About
Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf & Curling Club is centrally located within 15 minutes of the Edmonton Area, St. Albert, Morinville, and Cardiff. It first opened as a nine-hole course in the 1950s. Since the second nine wasn't added until 1996, there is a distinct difference between the front and back nine that makes it feel like you're getting two golf courses in one. The front, the original nine, is a more traditional parkland layout while the back is a more open links nine. You'll face a different set of challenges on each. The smaller greens on the front are indicative of the time when it was built and the size will also test your shot placement skills. In contrast, Edmonton Garrison Memorial's back nine has large and undulating greens as well as more strategically placed mounding.

Love everything about this course. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. A group of us left our regular ladies league two years ago and came to this course. It was a great decision, we really enjoy it here! Love that we get to see a little wildlife on occasion too.

Best Value Course in Edmonton Area ... VERY Friendly Staff
The course is a great track ... challenging and fun to play ... some tee boxes could use upgrades ... patio area could use upgrade also ... course (fairways and greens) are in great shape

Garrison, a good deal
Getting 18 holes at a decent golf course, with a GPS cart for around $50 through GolfNow is a great deal. But, beware the potholes and roots on the cart paths. Still, we'll be going back for more.

The garrison
It was a great course and everything just a little disappointing didn’t get to play the full 18. The weather wasn’t the greatest for the day if possible really would like to play the back nine if not was still worth the money spent

Great time for players of all skill levels
Had a really good time here with a few of my friends who are new to golfing. Course conditions were great, a few odd patches here and there but for a public course it's 9/10 for quality.
Extremely friendly and professional staff here, Marshalls are diligent and ensure a nice pace of play.
I will definitely be returning to this course a few more times this season.

Great course
I’ve played there quite a few times. Course is in great shape and cost is reasonable. Great location. The staff are amazing and will do anything to make your day great!

Garrison
I've now played The Garrison twice and will probably play again. It's one of the few courses available through GolfNow that actually has tee times available. The course itself is good value for money, at approx $50 with a GPS cart. Some of the holes (zig-zag par 5s) are somewhat confusing unless you're with someone who has played before, A few of the holes have tiny greens that have yet to be renovated but overall, it's entertaining and fun.
