Ironhead Golf and Country Club

Golfed many round here over the years but this year was told of horrid conditions of the course. Granted it is not in its usual conditiion of the past but is far from being two putt greens and un mowed fairways and tees. Frankly i was expecting brutal course conditons. Paid a great price through golf now and would sum the course as fair shape. They obviously need some good help out there but with some TLC it will be back to great conditons

I have played Ironhead many times over the years but it was my first time there this year. I love the layout but the course conditions for this round were very poor. Greens were patchy, bumpy and slow. A few tee boxes were overgrown with weeds. It's really too bad...It's a great course and fun to play when it's in good shape. Wouldn't take much to bring it back to a decent condition...hope they put in the time to do it.

Love the course layout. Couldn't ask for a more courteous and friendly staff. The greens need some TLC. But overall, we really enjoyed our round and lunch afterwards.

No one else on course when we started as was raining lightly - felt like our own private course! Greens are in poor condition…so we took max 2 putt which helped my score :) .Don't expect anything much from clubhouse and absolutely nothing in the pro shop to buy. Regardless, would play here again as scenery and course in general is fun.

Ironhead has always been a favorite of mine. It is such a shame that they have allowed the conditions to deteriorate so much. The greens were the absolute worst I have ever played on. Every single green was horrible!!! Tee boxes covered only by weeds.

I've golfed at Ironhead many times before. I invited a friend this time telling him how nice the course was. Wow what a dis appointment. The greens were always one of the best features but now they are all dead. Didn't get one green in good condition. They all had patches and the ball jumped everywhere. Totally dead greens.

This course could be very enjoyable; some very interesting holes, but the course would require about two years and lots of money to bring the greens to life and make the fairways and tee off boxes proper. The club house is a great design and location, but little money has been put into upkeep for many years. Unfortunately, a lot of lost potential.

Will not be coming back for some time. All the greens are in horrific condition.

Challenging course, Clubhouse, greens and Tee's need some TLC. Staff were friendly. Les Feber design that is well laid out. Would play it again only on a HOT DEAL as I wouldn't pay the going rate !!!

It could be a wonderful course if it was maintained better. Most of the greens were very poor with large dead patches. No one fixes divots. There was no sand in our empty sand buckets (except for cigarette butts) on the cart and nowhere on the course. The sand traps were weedy. Tee boxes were in very poor condition. There was not one single item for sale in the pro shop. No bag covers on the cart. Would NEVER go back there.

would not rush to play it again.No stock of any kind in clubhouse.It feels like they are closing the couse

WHITE IS LITTLE BIT SHORT.
BLUE IS BETTER THAN WHITE.
GREEN IS SLOW BECAUSE RAIN.

Challenging for us high handicappers, but fun, heard sometimes the rough isn't cut enough otherwise great can't wait to go back

Wide and long fair way. Good condition with green.
Staffs are friendly.

The course is long and was reasonably well maintained for the size. unique holes with different fairways. Not a great course but long holes were fun to play.

the first 3 holes are tough, but not impossible to score well on. Lots of challenges. The course is in good shape and is being constantly worked on. Definately would recommend it.
