From the course to the mountains. Photo submitted by hughd123 on 08/04/2013
The course was fine but we had a foursome of lousy golf players ahead of us - they must have been several holes behind the players in front of them. We saw no signs of marshals. The foursome did not care that they played so slowly - as a result, it was a 5 hour round,.
Fun but slow
The course is in great shape and we enjoyed it. The pace of play was slow., today. There was a foursome in front of us and we waited on every single hole and shot. It was too bad because we could have easily played through them had the invitation been issued. The mosquitoes weren’t too bad but bring your own bug spray!
We always love the 19th hole....delicious food and a cold beer.
Good value beautiful scenery
Managed to squeeze in a round between rain. Course in good condition. Mosquitoes on back 9 not too bad. (They can be). Fun day!
Nice to get out and play AND socialize afterwards
The course was in pretty good condition although there was a lot of standing water on the fairways. Not the course managementS fault. Great staff.
Good value but need course Marshall to monitor pace of play
We had a great round with the course being in great shape, and great value for money. We played as a twosome and had some minor waits for the first 6 holes as there was a foursome in front of us, but nothing serious. After that, the foursome in front of us caught up to another foursome who was playing extremely slowly and who didn’t let anyone play through. The pace of play then dropped to a five hour round and by the end of our round there was at least a five hole gap in front of the slow foursome making it extremely frustrating. The slow foursome should have let people play through, which is bad etiquette, however we also never saw any course Marshall who should have forced them to speed up or to let players play through. We would like to play this course again, however if they won’t enforce a pace of play I’m not sure we would want to, which is a shame.
Beautiful Scenery
Nice track. Bring lots to drink because it’s hot
Out there.
It’s worth playing
Great ride in from whistler, good layout and use every club in your bag
Shaggy greens
Course is set in beautiful surroundings, but not maintained to it's true potential.
Front nine is open, and the back nine is in wooded area.
Greens are horribly slow. Even down hill putts come up short.
Great Value! Would def play again
Great place - def recommend. Only complaint is no practice/driving range, just one mat and net. Views are outstanding and very different front and back nines.
The value here is outstanding and the food @ clubhouse was delicious.
Diamond in the rough
Great golf course for any level of players flat to walk great price if you search on golfnow it’s a hidden gem play it every time we are in whistler
Visit from Whistler vacation
Worth the drive to this gem of a golf course
Greens are all in excellent condition
The scenery is amazing
All in all a very good golf value
Wildlife
The bear on the 10th fairway slowed things up a bit but other then that, had a good day.
Just ok
The greens are in great shape. The fairways are in fair condition. The bunkers were in poor condition. The course is tight. The back nine was buggy. Insect repellent highly recommended. We purchased the fees on a hot deal which made it reasonable to play. They charged us $5.00 each for pull carts. All of the other courses we have played in the area have provided them free. The gentleman who check us in was less than cordial. We had a drink on the patio at the end of the round. Nice place to sit and relax. Prices were reasonable.
Stunning mountain vistas
This interesting, well maintained course delights the senses with beautiful mountain peaks and birds singing on every hole. You will want to play it again.
