From the course to the mountains. Photo submitted by hughd123 on 08/04/2013
Great deal; Good condition; great food
Day was gorgeous but very warm. Absolutely no holdup, got around in 3.5 hours. Greens in great condition. There are a few rough spots but considering how hot it has been and watering restrictions, course is in very good shape.
Excellent Value - Excellent Condition
The setting of the course cannot be beat. The friendliness of the staff and the conditions of the greens were outstanding. Best value in the Whistler area by far!
Amazing mountain backdrop
Very good value and course was in great condition.
Bunkers could use some improvement .
Overall great experience !
Great day.
Course was in good condition. Staff was friendly. Weather was hot.
For the value of my money
Booked it on the day of play within the hour as we are vacationing in Whistler for a few days. Weather was cloudy most of the time as it is spring. Scenery was awesome, playing at the foot of the mountain with ice caps. Mild weather for me as I am from Ontario. It snowed the day I left home. Course was quiet as I played after 2,30 pm solo. I had a few good shots as it is early season for me. My putting for good with 8 1 putt. If the course would fix up some of the fringe areas with better paved cart path and with proper signs indicating the next holes would make this perfect. It was too bad that the course closed by at 6.00pm before I was done. U couldn't try their food or browse at the golf shop. Maybe next time.
One issue, if I had not taken a picture of the booking to show upon check in, I won't have my cart as it was included in my booking, but not at theirs.
Surrounded by mountains
The course was in great shape. We went out as a twosome. The layout meanders through the trees, so you almost feel like you have the course to yourself. Very enjoyable round!
Meadows
Got an exceptional rate with golf now. Hot deal. Would play again if in whistler. Restaurant closed so ate breakfast at big sky.
Bad shape
I used to be a member about 10 years ago when this was pemberton golf and country club. I was still expecting great things, but the course was in bad shape. Bad greens, chewed up tee boxes, rocks in the sand traps, etc. and very expensive for the quality of the course. And $40 for a cart is crazy! To top it off the pro shop worker I dealt with was not friendly, at least crack a smile!
Meadows at pemberton
Played on "hot deals" good course, needs better upkeep
Interesting holes, narrow and challenging.
Greens in good shape
Joe's enjoyment
We really enjoyed the course. What a view! And having the bear join us added to our pleasure.
Great Golf at a great price!
two different 9 holes front 9 wide open and back 9 tree course!
Good Value
Good little course. Back nine has lots of trees.
Greens and fairway in good shape.
Good value for your money. Would definitely play again!!!!!
Very good value for money.
An interesting and delightful challenge for us high handicap golfers. Not manicured but well maintained. Dramatic scenery and delights of nature more than compensated for our loss of golf balls. We completed our round with a beer and tasty burger special served by a friendly and attentive waitress. We will be back.
Super value from tee-off to a "19th hole" pub experience!
My wife and I played and ate at The Meadows at Pemberton (near Whistler, BC) about a year ago and loved it. The course provides a SUPER VALUE from tee-off to a unique after-round pub/restaurant experience. The course is well-maintained, set in an amazing mountain-surrounding valley location, and offers a challenge to all levels of golfers without overly punishing the weekend-only golfer. Several tight fairways make for a few lost balls and/or penalty strokes, however, so be prepared to eat "humble pie" along with the great appetizers in the restaurant afterwards (fried dill pickles...who would have guessed?...yam fries, superb calimari, and more! We will return to The Meadows at Pemberton for sure!
need a map to show where cart paths are
course was in well maintained condition. hazards were not well defined. course was not on Garmin GPS. I did not have a putter and the clerk was kind enough to loan we one. restaurant was very attractive, had excellent hours, food and service was excellent.
Pemberton meadows
Excellent course for golfers who are intimidated by difficult big price courses. Beautiful scenery, varied terrain, friendly greens.
Had a fabulous day and for the money you can not beat this gem.
Enjoyed this course and would come back again.
Appreciated the discount through Golfnow.com. The power carts are a bit pricey for their age. There could be more directional signage from green to next tee or a map included with or on the score card. I used their website course video feature on my phablet and it was helpful. Their course could also be on Swing by Swing Golf app. Bring insect repellant for the biting flies on the back nine.
The course is well maintained, the fescue rough is unforgiving. Keep your balls on the mowed areas. I will be back while visiting whistler next year!
Good value!
Booked online and got a great price. Power carts are way to expensive - the carts are old and don't have GPS.
Hot weather offered a bug free golf game. Not always the case when we have played there before. Surely they can do something about the mosquito problem.
Tight course, small greens that were pretty slow.
Not used to being charged extra for the carts with a Golfnow course. Beautiful scenery. Airport next to course provided us a show with parachute jumpers! The scenery was worth the drive. The course had some water damage, I assume, on the greens and fairways. All in all, fun place to play.
Beautiful landscapes
My wife and I played this course twice during our vacation at Whistler (on 8/2 and 8/6). It was a great course, challenging but fair and it has beautiful views of the mountains. Very nice!!! We will play this course next time we're in Whistler!
