About
Guildford Golf & Country Club has long been known as one of the finest courses British Columbia has to offer. The golf course is located in Surrey, just across the U.S. border from Washington and less than 40 minutes from Vancouver. The scenic layout has fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are large and undulating. There are also creeks that weave across the golf course and numerous lakes that come into play. The layout has a classic design that still provides a challenge for all skill levels. Golfers are put to the test right away on the first two holes, a par 4 and a par 3 respectively, which require good course management and thoughtful decision making. Guilford's standout hole though, is the signature 16th. This tough par 3 is modeled after the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, complete with a stone bridge and water hazard that encircles almost the entire green.

1.Players behind us almost hot us 4 x we are only 180 yards from tee box when they hit their ball. Marshal even warn them but still doing the same.
2. The manager at that time is rude when my visiting friend were choosing club rental.
3. Players infront of us waited the green to be cleared on a 430 yards before hitting their fist shot
Overall is good
We played behind a tournament so they were very slow. We couldn’t even can’t finish 18 holes who started at 2:10 pm played 5 hours 20 minutes. Unbelievable slow . They should sale any tee time behind golf tournament . The good things is course are in good shape.
A good day at Guildford.
Today the course was in great shape. I caught a great deal at $41. I had to walk due to a tournament and was not pleased finding out the tournie was at 1:30 and they could have let me have one as i would have been back on time. Explaining I had a heart condition didn’t work. But. I didn’t die and had a great day on a beautiful morning.

Parking issue
Everything seems to be ok except for parking spots are very limited. The staff was considerate enough to find me spot. But when I got home there was a note in my windshield that's says " WHO TAUGHT YOU TO PARK IN A NO PARKING SPACE" that person has no idea how limited the space was given that when I arrived I only had few minutes left before my teetime. Also I would suggest a remind Marshall to be more attentive at the course play time and advise those lagging behind to speed up. Otherwise everything was ok.
Nice golf course. Golf Now not so.
Real nice golf course. Lots of different holes. Well run course.. Golf Now has imploded. They have raised my Hot Deals up to 450%. There is very little savings booking Hot Deals. For four or five dollars I can book through the course and pick my time. They have lost four local courses Golf Now used to show some value, that has now disappeared. I no longer can recommend joining. I pay $270 cdn for my VIP Membership. It's just not worth it. It's too bad I had enjoyed it.
Over my expectation
Fairways are little dry but better than so many other courses in Vancouver. Really good condition overall of No rain ☔️ in summer. And green are very smooth too. I just played a public course in Vancouver yesterday which was very very Dry and many fairways were No grass too. Guildford are way better. So I will play here again next week .
