About
Guildford Golf & Country Club has long been known as one of the finest courses British Columbia has to offer. The golf course is located in Surrey, just across the U.S. border from Washington and less than 40 minutes from Vancouver. The scenic layout has fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are large and undulating. There are also creeks that weave across the golf course and numerous lakes that come into play. The layout has a classic design that still provides a challenge for all skill levels. Golfers are put to the test right away on the first two holes, a par 4 and a par 3 respectively, which require good course management and thoughtful decision making. Guilford's standout hole though, is the signature 16th. This tough par 3 is modeled after the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, complete with a stone bridge and water hazard that encircles almost the entire green.

Winter layout not good
Disappointed course gone to winter layout wo any mention on course site. Too many temp greens and several mats for price paid. Not sure why protecting greens as greens in poor shape anyways (bouncing balls and lots of goose poop). Will play elsewhere till spring

although the course is in good condition all around, and the weather was perfect, the pace was very, very slow, 5 hours, and 15 minutes, we teed off at 11:22am., and finished at 16::38, the marshal did nothing, one foursome that teed off two in front of us after the first hole, split and went 2 twosomes, and the marshal did nothing, should have forest them back together, especially when it is so slow and busy

they had just punched the greens earlier that week, but conditions are good all around, except the pace, we teed off at 11:22, and finished at 16:37 over five hours, the marshal did nothing, two to three different foursomes waiting at each hole. One of the foursomes two head of us after the first hole split into two twosomes, and the marshal did nothing
Great Value
I have played at Guildford many time. It can be a bit slow sometimes like several other courses. At times the conditions can be a bit rough. However, the last time I played there the course was in great condition. I always think the value is good as well.
Slow
We had our tee time at 250pm and had to play in the dark the last 3 holes. It took over 5 hours. No Marshall to push people along. Good course but that will keep me from playing there again
Greens were horrific
I like to play Guildford. But wow. The greens were in terrible shape. I walked around on each one and fixed 5 pitch marks on every hole.
This is partly the clientele. And partly maintenance.
Should have sent their Marshall out with a pitch mark tool and helped out. By far. The worst I have ever seen the greens.
Great day
Always fun to play. Staff was friendly first thing in the morning. Have to play it more than once to figure out some of the holes. Great condition, greens in the morning weren’t fast but picked up later. The reason for the four stars is because people have not been fixing their ball marks. Lots of pit marks.and also if you don’t load up with refreshments after the third hole you are S.O.L. The snack shack is never open it seems before 10. Always a great day for golf.
Great course but many people interrupted hole.
You have to control of pace to pace in this hole.
So dangerous course due to everywhere throw the balls.
Green were smooth but a little slow
Green were little slow compared to last week. Fairway were ok but a little dry . All the public courses were dry too . Deal with No rain for a month. Fun course to played here.
