Twin Willows Golf Club
About
Twin Willows Golf Club gets its name from the two original trees that have been with the club since its beginning as a nine-hole course in 1964. The classic original layout was later joined by a more open, Scottish-links style layout. Overall the course is player friendly enough for beginners, but more advanced players will still get a challenge from the back tees, especially on the back nine. The 12th is a tough par 3 that plays entirely over water and the 14th is another notable hole. It's the longest par 4 on the golf course and it can feel even longer since it often plays into the prevailing wind. There are 45 bunkers strategically placed throughout and there are also eight water hazards that come into play. The distinct front and back nines give you the feeling of playing two golf courses in one and there is also plenty of variety among the holes.

Enjoy the front 9
I always enjoy the front 9 of this course but find the back nine boring as it does not have many trees and very open, but that's just my opinion as others may like it. Overall it's a good course.
It has been awhile since last time at Twin Willows
Tee too Greens were in decent shape considering how dry it has been. Played it on a HOT DEAL as there rates are high for the track you are getting. Good challenge from the Blue Tee's, well bunkered fairways and greenside. Need to be 250 + off these Tee's to avoid some fairway bunkers but most fairways are generous. Slow play, below average Clubhouse but price was right on HOT DEAL.
sunday out
Tee boxs were rough and greens bumpy and slow.
More water and better care required.
Early season
early season conditions with some winter kill in spots. Greens are a bit slow but generally good.
Good basic course
This course is fun for when you just want to get a round in without having to drive too far, or pay too much. It's easy to get to and not especially tough, although the greens will challenge you. It's in okay condition considering we haven't had much rain. We usually golf early in the mornings to beat the crowds, and on this occasion we golfed right after rain so we just about had the course to ourselves. It was a bit windy on the back nine where it is more open, but it was still an enjoyable round.
Beautiful Friday morning
Overall condition average but it's early in the season. Easy access, can't beat golf now deal. Would go back in mid season
TeeTimes were all at 11; 00 am
In the pro shop there was a line-up of 10 people to register for their tee time. I asked the people in front what time they had and the people behind me all said their tee time was 11:00. On the first tee, there were 5 groups waiting to tee off and it seemed they all had 11:00 tee times. Needless to say the round took 5 hrs to play. Not bad considering waiting on every hole, but it was a warm October day and the course was in relatively good shape.
Picture Perfect
It was a picture perfect late summer day and the course is in excellent shape. This is a great course for golfers of all abilities. Highly recommended!
Need for a course marshal
According o previous reviewers, this course has had issues with the pace of play. The course is quite an easy play and there should be no reason for such a slow pace of play. Either they are booking tee times too close or they need an active marshal.
Twin Willow? They're dead.
Two groups of fivesome ahead? WTH. It's waiting every hole.
Enjoyable
the course has accomodating fairways so if you rep the ball in the fairway you can score well, but get it in the trees and you can see your score go up. Greens are very good
Terrible pace of play
Been playing this course for years yet it never changes, the Marshall basically just takes up a seat on his cart for no reason cause he certainly doesn't do nothing, and the staff book tee times I'm pretty sure 2 mins apart, last night I left at hole 16 and 5.5 hrs into playing 16 holes because of a "6" person group looking for a ball (timed it) for 18 minutes! Unreal how bad it is there, however the course is one of edmontons finest!
Nice course
Nice little course right in the city. Has a nice mix of easy and challenging holes. Very tough rough, long and thick at the present time. Don't go there.
Good day for golf
Weather was warm , with a good breeze. It is unfortunate that the beverage cart does not run on Tuesdays. The reason given is that Ladies league is on Tuesdays and they never buy from the cart girl, so she doesn't want to waste her time riding around selling nothing.
Nice flow of play
Second time I have played this coarse and I brought three guys that had never played it. We will all make it a regular coarse to play. Loved the booklet that explains how to play each hole. Like having a caddi in your back pocket. Could use better entrance marking as it is easy to drive by.
ed
The fairways were in good condition, however tee offs were very hard and greens were average, overall a great afternoon.
Great deal on a decent course.
$25.00 for 18 holes and cart was a smoking good deal!! Definitely wouldn't pay their full green fee rate to play here though.
Good Course
Just a good course, not too hard and somewhat short, which suits senior golfers.
Good pace
The course is busy but play in good pace, nice mature setting for the front nine . The back nine is more wide open. You hear the traffic noise. It will take few years for the trees to mature. It is walk-able for different age of golfers.
Golf Twin
Course condition is very good very clean perfect to play in sunny day, it was bit rain when I played but I will play again
