Twin Willows Golf Club
About
Twin Willows Golf Club gets its name from the two original trees that have been with the club since its beginning as a nine-hole course in 1964. The classic original layout was later joined by a more open, Scottish-links style layout. Overall the course is player friendly enough for beginners, but more advanced players will still get a challenge from the back tees, especially on the back nine. The 12th is a tough par 3 that plays entirely over water and the 14th is another notable hole. It's the longest par 4 on the golf course and it can feel even longer since it often plays into the prevailing wind. There are 45 bunkers strategically placed throughout and there are also eight water hazards that come into play. The distinct front and back nines give you the feeling of playing two golf courses in one and there is also plenty of variety among the holes.

Slow pace
Golf course is in good condition but was spoiled by very slow pace. Average 3 minutes wait on every
hole.
Great course
Would play again when have time and Hot Deals appear in golfnow.com
A Nice Quiet Round....
Played it as a Hot Deal to see if I like it - I do! Front 9 is treed, very much like Riverside in Edmonton. Back 9 more wide open, links style.
A short course, but you have to think your way around, as there are a lot of little hazards throughout. I would compare the course very much to Leduc in how its laid out.
Played late morning on a weekday - and would do so again!
Course has acceptable features
Course was fair. Staff sent out singles and doubles causing back up for these people
centrally located,enjoyable to play
Nice course for higher handicap players, not too long, have played it many times.
See my review.
Course was in reasonable shape, but play was slow - more time / space should be allotted between groups. Also, there was no indication on the online booking system that the greens were recently dressed. As a result putting was less than enjoyable with the amount of sand on the greens.
had a good time
would play this course again. we teamed up with some one and really enjoyed ourselves
Challenging back nine
Twin Willows is a course that is progressively getting more expensive. At one time, it was very reasonable to golf there, but now the prices are getting quite high for what is offered. 30.00 to walk 9 holes is a little much.
Saying all that however, I did receive a great deal on Golf Now. The front nine is mature and very fair for beginner golfers. The back nine is longer and more challenging as the rough is very unforgiving. You wont find your ball if you hit it in the thick rough.
Overall, a decent course for all levels located in a convenient location.
Love how the back and front are such different course.
The course is in great shape and the back especially is in great shape. Love all the challenges the course has to offer
