Winter golf
The course is in great shape for winter golf...as always. Thumbs up to the maintenance staff. The Christmas theme is a great way to finish the round
Good for mid December
Course was in good shape for mid December. No standing water. Shotgun start. One of the holes was being renovated, so it was shortened. Hot deal on golf now was great. Included a cart. Both carts in our group were in terrible shape, full of garbage, no brakes, and wayward steering. Got around in 3:40. I would play again, but not for full price.
Beauty in the Valley!!
This course is the most beautiful the Comox Valley has to offer. Nicely laid out, though not terribly difficult. Course was an excellent condition for mid December.

Apart from being foggy , the course was in great shape and the greens were true and fast for this time of year.
Great golf experience
I had the opportunity to stay at the resort while visiting the Comox Valley. I was able to play the course a dozen times in varying weather conditions and must say the course was very enjoyable to play in all conditions. The Crown Isle staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this course if you are looking for an enjoyable golfing experience.
Playabiliyy in winter
This course is the newest one built in this area and has well engineered drainage and design. After weeks of rain the course had no standing water and very few patches of squishy grass on the fairways and the greens were in good shape. It was a good round of golf in December.
BEST VALLEY COURSE IN WET CONDITIONS
Despite a week of heavy rains, the course was once again in great playing condition. Most drives were still bouncing along the fairway and the greens were in great condition. If you are golfing in the Comox Valley this time of year, Crown Isle is a must!!
Autumn Splendor
Course was perfect - had it all to ourselves - let us go on early to get our round in before sunset. However two concerns - they locked the washrooms before 6 pm and we had to have the power carts back by 6 pm so we could not finish the last 2 holes. But it was still a great round of golf - enjoyed it thoroughly.
beauty day
Another amazing outing at Crown Isle! Weather was perfect for my wife ,my son and I. Didn't quite finish 18 holes because of twilight but great none the less.Super acomodating and professional pro shop staff plus course in terrific condition.Easily my favorite course on Vancouver Island. Hope to get back soon.

Had a great game but not able to finish as darkness setting in, glad to be in carts as does speed up play. to club house for meal and beer after warm and cosy.course dry even after a rainfall day before. food was great we,ll be back

Cut the same day or even rolled. But over all great experience and good round. Staff were very pleasent and helpful. Course Marshall was around a lot which was good and informed use of upcoming speed of the holes were about to play. This is very good for the

Great Resort Course
As this course goes it has always been a player friendly layout. The pace was good. The only thing that I would comment on would be the starter. He needed to show a little friendliness and enthusiasm. He really didn't seem to care whether we were there or not.
